Krueshef: From Champion to Caribbean Voice
Clarence Joseph, known as Krueshef, has traveled an extraordinary path from boxing rings to reggae stages. This Frederiksted, St. Croix native dominated the boxing world with New York City and Colorado State Golden Gloves titles, a national championship in Las Vegas, and earned a spot as an alternate for the 2004 U.S. Olympic team. Trading gloves for grooves, Krueshef channeled his competitive fire into music, drawing inspiration from Caribbean legends like Bounty Killer, Merciless, and Beenie Man. His early performances in New York City and Colorado Springs included collaborations with Jason Derulo and DMX, establishing his presence in the music world.
Now based in California, Krueshef has made significant waves in reggae and dancehall. His 2024 project "Greatness" expanded his musical boundaries, followed by 2025's radio hit "Stronger" and recent releases "Bloodline" and "Live Life Life Love." His 2025 EP "We Rise Up" blends modern dancehall with traditional reggae, emphasizing themes of empowerment and unity.
With his deep vocals and high-energy performances, Krueshef continues his warrior's journey—now fighting with melodies that heal, lyrics that inspire, and rhythms that unite communities worldwide.
